Polycarbonate (hereinafter referred to as PC) refers to a thermoplastic polymer with a carbonate group (-OROCO-) as the basic segment in the molecular chain. PC is one of the five major engineering plastics. Because of its advantages such as high strength, high transparency, high impact resistance, and high heat resistance, it is widely used in electronic appliances, auto parts, building materials, medical equipment, and food packaging. .
Here we introduce a PC flame retardant potassium perfluorobutane sulfonate. Potassium perfluorobutane sulfonate is the best flame retardant for PC polycarbonate, which has excellent heat resistance, flame resistance and excellent hydrolysis resistance. When it is recommended to be used in PC flame retardant products, it can achieve a very good UL94 flame retardant grade, while maintaining the original light transmittance of PC. The product has good processing flow and excellent dispersibility, it is recommended to add 0.08-0.1%. Specific applications include PC film flame retardant, automobiles, electronic appliances, mobile phone charger shells, computer shells, LED lighting brackets, switch panels and other PC flame retardant products.
